We pride ourselves in treating injured workers

Ankle injury

Foot and ankle injuries are common in the workplace. Examples we see are:

  • A heavy object falls onto a warehouse worker’s foot.

  • Tendonitis plagues a delivery person with a long route.

  • A fall from height fractures a roofer’s heel bone.

  • A police officer making an arrest sprains his ankle.

Dr. Bohl takes extra pride in treating those injured on the job, as he values the work they do, the risks they take, and their desire to return to being productive. He will work closely with your employer, case manager, and lawyer to treat your injury and characterize any disability. He has extensive experience with Worker’s Compensation claims and can help you to navigate the process, if you desire.

Your evaluation

Foot injury examination

If you’ve been injured on the job, Dr. Bohl will be delighted to see you in clinic.

He will start by ordering x-rays of the foot and ankle. He will then ask you to describe your workplace injury. After this, he will examine your ankle, explaining his findings each step of the way.

Dr. Bohl will conclude by explaining his diagnosis and presenting you with a range of treatment options. He will take great care to explain the potential impact of each option on your work, family, and personal life.

The excellent staff that works with Dr. Bohl will be happy to assist you with any Worker’s Compensation-related paperwork. And, if you desire, Dr. Bohl will be happy to communicate all findings back to your case manager, Worker’s Compensation agency, and employer.

Independent medical examinations and second opinions

Dr. Bohl conducts independent medical evaluations and second opinions for injured workers. These are critical components of our Worker’s Compensation system, as different doctors may not agree on a given causality, diagnosis, or treatment plan. Dr. Bohl specializes in evaluating injured workers and so can provide a unique perspective on your injury.

If you are a patient or case worker seeking to arrange an independent medical evaluation or second opinion, please follow this link and fill out the form to schedule.
